Attention all Seniors and Senior Parents!

MCHS is hosting our first virtual Senior Parent Night. Please join us at 6 p.m. on Sept. 17 using the following link:

During this presentation, Scott Carlson, one of the college representatives for the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, will be speaking on the college application process, what colleges are looking for, as well as the updates that have come about due to COVID-19.

After that, Ina Hall, coordinator of New Students and Financial Aid Outreach for MCC will be presenting on FAFSA and provide the resources families need to start this application on October 1. Completing the FAFSA application is now a graduation requirement for every high school senior in Illinois.

Directly following Ina, two West counselors, Sarah Sadler and Stephanie Zarinana will host a brief question-and-answer session.

Please know that should this be a highly sought-out event, Zoom will only allow the first 100 people in at a time.

We will send out the resources and presentations so that if you are unable to attend or can't join the session, you will be able to access the information.
