The McHenry High School Foundation Committee is accepting nominations for the next McHenry High School Distinguished Graduate. To be considered for the award, the nominees must be graduates of McHenry High School District 156 for at least 15 years and have distinguished themselves during their lives. The following criteria is used but not limited to: sphere of influence, impact on their community, service to humanity, difficulties overcome in making achievements, inspiration to others and success in chosen field.
The graduates that are selected for this award will be invited to attend the annual Academic Recognition Dinner that will be held this spring. The Distinguished Graduate picture and list of their accomplishments will be prominently displayed in a hall of each school, along with Distinguished Graduates from prior years. In addition, each Distinguished Graduate honored will receive a plaque in recognition of this tribute.
Nomination forms can be obtained from the Robert O. Swartzloff Center for Educational Services at 4716 W. Crystal Lake Road, McHenry, IL 60050. Persons wishing to obtain additional information may call Dr. Ryan McTague, Superintendent, at 815 385-7900. All nominations must be returned to the Robert O. Swartzloff Center for Educational Services no later than February 24, 2017.
