The McHenry girls flag football team made a statement in their season opener, besting Rockford Guilford 18-0 under the lights at home. Addison Hoffmann powered the Warrior scoring, finding the end zone three times to pace McHenry in their debut.
On the other side of the ball, the Warriors’ defense was relentless, keeping Guilford off the scoreboard and securing the program’s first shutout of the year. With a dominant performance on both sides, the McHenry girls flag team successfully opens the season with momentum and confidence.
Next up, the Warriors will host the Grayslake North Knights for a varsity matchup at 5:30pm on Wednesday evening at McCracken Field.
