McHenry 203, Johnsburg 225: At Boone Creek in Bull Valley, McHenry’s Madison Donovan earned medalist honors with a 44 to lead the Warriors to the season-opening nonconference win against Johnsburg. Aubree Lundin carded a 48, followed by Shania Houston (53) and Kilynn Axelson (58).
Johnsburg was paced by Riley Klotz with a 47. Amber Smith had a 54, Lana Bowers had a 61 and Annie Moss had a 63.
