McHenry triangular: At McHenry, Jacobs came out on top in a battle with McHenry near the front of the pack to secure a 25-34 win over the Warriors and a 15-50 defeat of Dundee-Crown. McHenry defeated D-C, 16-45.
Denielle Jensen and Kelly Carpenter ran together for much of the race, but it was Jensen who pulled away in the final stages to secure the individual win in 18:47. Carpenter finished in 18:57 to lead Jacobs.
The Chargers’ top finisher was Lydia Anderson, who placed 14th.
