Events are planned for Jan. 13 and Jan. 14 for current freshmen and new students to look around both campuses in anticipation of starting the hybrid learning on Jan. 20.

Please see details for each campus below. Building principals also sent emails to families.

In anticipation of our Return to Hybrid Learning model on January 20th, we are putting the Freshman Walk-Through Event back on the calendar for next week.

This event will occur prior to the start of the hybrid schedule for freshmen and new students, and will be offered over TWO evenings.

At this event, students and parents/guardians will be able to come to the building to get familiar with the campus and their schedule. Individual student schedules will be available upon entry into the building.

The event is set for Wednesday night, January 13th and Thursday night, January 14th, and is the same on either night. Pick whichever evening works best for your family:

Alpha Last Name A-La - 5:00-6:30pm

Alpha Last Name Le-Z - 6:30-8:00pm

New Student Open Houses

West Campus will host two Open House events for all 9th-graders and students new to MCHS since last March who may not be familiar with the building.

Wednesday 1/13 - Orange schedule (A-La) 6-8 pm

Thursday 1/14 - Black schedule (Le-Z) 6-8 pm

This event is for students and parents/guardians. Students will receive a tentative second semester schedule, a self-certification pad, and MCHS face mask. MCHS student leaders will be present as students walk their schedule and practice using lockers.

There is no formal program; this is an opportunity to get familiar with the building, and locating classrooms and lockers.
