Testing Days

Wednesday, October 13: PSAT/NMSQT, Grade 11

Thursday, October 14: PSAT, Grades 8, 9 & 10

Seniors will be asynchronous AT HOME BOTH DAYS. They will not have any standardized testing.

Freshmen will be AT SCHOOL BOTH DAYS. They have a regular freshman early release day on Wednesday. They will be testing on Thursday.

Freshmen go to Freshman Campus on Wednesday and Upper Campus on Thursday. (scroll for more details on transportation)

Juniors will be testing on Wednesday and will be asynchronous at home on Thursday.

Sophomores will be at home asynchronous on Wednesday and will be testing on Thursday.

Don't forget TWO No. 2 sharpened pencils and your calculator!

Start and Release Times by Class

Freshman will start at 7:25 a.m. both days. They will be dismissed at 1:04 p.m. on Wednesday and 2 p.m. on Thursday.  

Sophomores will start at 7:35 a.m. on Thursday. They are allowed to leave right after testing on Thursday - if they have prearranged transportation; otherwise, the buses will pick up at 2 p.m. on Thursday from Upper Campus. Testing should be done by 11:30 a.m. If students have testing accommodations, their end times will vary.

Juniors will start at 7:35 a.m. on Wednesday. They are allowed to leave right after testing on Wednesday - if they have their own or prearranged transportation; otherwise, the buses will pick up at 1:14 p.m. from Upper Campus. Testing should be done by 11:30 a.m. If students have testing accommodations, their end times will vary.

For sophomores and juniors who have to wait for a bus, they will be provided a location to work on other work as needed when testing is finished. On Wednesday (juniors) the buses will be there for a 1:14 p.m. dismissal. On Thursday (sophomores) buses will be there for a 2 p.m. dismissal. 

Testing and Transportation Info from Mrs. Hobson for Freshmen:

On October 14, all 9th graders will be going to the Upper Campus for PSAT testing and other programming related to the transition to the Upper Campus. Take a look at this letter (English and Spanish) for more information about this day. 

Here are a few important details for October 14:

- You need to take your calculator, a couple sharpened #2 pencils, and your student ID. 

- Bus riders will arrive and depart from the Upper Campus.  

- Walkers will be shuttled to and from the upper campus. The shuttle will leave the FC at approximately 7:15 a.m. and return at 2 p.m. 

- Car riders need to be dropped off (7:25 a.m.) and picked up (2 p.m.) at the Upper Campus. 

- Testing room assignments will be sent out via Schoology.
