Eight MCHS students participated in the Special Olympics Regional Track event at Prospect High School on Sunday, April 16.
Three students did not get a chance to compete in the running and throwing events because the event was ended due to inclement weather. There will be a lottery drawing for those who didn't get a chance to compete to determine who goes on to the state competition.
Of those who did get a chance to compete, here are their results:
- Ellie Neuman -- second place in 50-meter run
- Julie Hultin -- third place in 50-meter run
- Reagan Fulgham -- second place in 50-meter run
- Matthew Covatl -- participation ribbon in 25-meter assisted walk
- Krisha Booth -- participation ribbon in 25 meter assisted walk
Those who did not compete in either running or throwing events:
- Danny Avila
- Jeremy Napier
- Jarrett Weltzien
