The Freshman Campus Drama Club and Introduction to Theater students are staging "A Winter Play Showcase" this month that features two plays, “Juliet and This Guy Romeo,” and “How to Survive Being in a Shakespeare Play.”
Both plays were written by Don Zolidis and take a humorous turn on Shakespeare. In “Juliet and This Guy Romeo,” a pair of teens from different families fall in love while the adults argue about politics on Facebook.
“How to Survive A Shakespeare Play,” takes a look at happier endings for some of Shakespeare’s most-loved tragedies.
Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 15-16. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online. Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.
Shows will take the stage at the Freshman Campus Theater.
