Flyer for the Oct. 8 MTI Career Expo

McHenry Community High School will host more than 40 industry businesses, educational institutions, employment organizations and more for the annual Manufacturing, Trades and Industry Career Expo on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at Upper Campus.

Educating students on different career paths, such as manufacturing, engineering, construction, graphics and health care, is the goal of the MTI event. Last year, 22 members of McHenry’s graduating Class of 2025 identified they would be pursuing career paths with companies or unions who attend the annual career expo.

From 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 8, businesses and organizations host displays at the Center for Science, Technology and Industry at Upper Campus to meet with students and families. McHenry County College will also participate.

All of the career programs at McHenry Community High School also display projects and talk to students about the variety of career programs available. Biomedical Science, for example, will showcase some of the science equipment used in classes, including inflatable lungs.
