Tickets go on sale Thursday for the MCHS Theatre production of “9 to 5: The Musical,” which is set to take the stage March 5-7 and March 13-14 in the Upper Campus auditorium.
MCHS students will bring to life the classic story about three female coworkers who devise a plan to get back at their sexist and egotistical boss. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy, and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot – and creating a workplace of their dreams.
“9 to 5,” with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic.
Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. on March 5-6 and March 13-14, and 5 p.m. March 7. Tickets are available online at GoFan.
