Flyer for April 1 Transition Resource Fair

McHenry Community High School is partnering with more than 30 community organizations to host a Transition Resource Fair on April 1 to help those with disabilities in their journey towards independence.

The fair will serve as a one-stop place to find information on postsecondary education, independent living, employment, self-advocacy and more. It all takes place from 6-8 p.m. April 1 in the Upper Campus main gym.

The following organizations will participate in the fair, either in person or by having a table with information for participants.

McHenry Community High School operates a BRIDGES transition program to prepare students who have completed high school requirements for independent living as adults. The BRIDGES program operates a store, Across the Bridge, to sell handmade items and also teach transition students important life skills.
