McHenry Community High School families now have a new attendance reporting tool that allows them to report daily absences directly through the PowerSchool computer platform and/or app.
Parents and guardians can use the PowerSchool app or desktop platform to “Report New Absence” directly to the school. It is only available to the day of the absence, not for preplanned longer absences. For preplanned absences, families have to submit a form that’s available on the district’s website.
In the PowerSchool platform on the desktop computer, the “Report New Attendance” button can be found through either Attendance Portal or Attendance Monitor. Both are located along the left-hand side of the screen.
