strategic planning

Dear Warrior Family,

I’m pleased to report that we had more than 1,100 McHenry-area community members, parents, civic leaders, students, staff, teachers and administrators fill out our strategic planning survey in August and September. In addition, more than 150 people from the above-mentioned groups participated in focus groups to provide further insight into the state of the district and priorities for the future.

Now a strategic planning committee with more than 30 members – staff, students, parents/guardians, community members – has reviewed this initial feedback and identified:

  • Strengths of the district - what it should keep doing to be successful

  • Weaknesses of the district - where it should look to improve to meet community standards

  • Opportunities - areas for new innovation or growth to be more successful

  • Threats/Challenges - factors outside the district's control that it should still be prepared to address

In the form below, the Strategic Planning Team asks you to provide feedback about what it has identified, specifically confirming its review of the initial feedback or providing insight into what else the committee might need to consider before going forward with drafting goals and objectives for the strategic plan.

Please read the survey carefully and provide the best feedback you can.
