The McHenry County Department of Health awarded Nicole Class the 2024 Lina Rogers Award for her outstanding work as an MCHS school nurse at the 2024 School Nurse Symposium. On Wednesday the Student Services department surprised her with a cake and plaque!
D156 parents/guardians are invited to TONIGHT'S (3/7) presentation.
The goal of this presentation is to raise awareness and provide education regarding vaping and alcohol/drug trends. This program will also help participants identify signs of vaping and possible substance use.
AP Environmental Science students went to visit the McHenry Wastewater Treatment plant this week to learn more about how our wastewater is treated. They also learned how different pollutants in storm water runoff can have detrimental effects to our river.

Manufacturing students have been working hard in our advanced lab space to prepare for the Technology and Manufacturing Association machining competition this spring. The item they are making for the competition is an edge finder and vise stop.
