Manufacturing students have been working hard in our advanced lab space to prepare for the Technology and Manufacturing Association machining competition this spring. The item they are making for the competition is an edge finder and vise stop.
We can't wait to see how they do!
Congratulations to the boys basketball team for advancing to the Class 4A sectional championship for the first time since 1976.
And congratulations to Coach Card for his 300th career victory.
The championship game is at 7 p.m. Friday at Rock Valley College.

D156 parents/guardians are invited to our upcoming presentation.
The goal of this presentation is to raise awareness and provide education regarding vaping and alcohol/drug trends. This program will also help participants identify signs of vaping and possible substance use.
On Wednesday students had a Battle of the Beads competition for the Battle of the Bands Spirit Week. Students started with one set of beads and played rock paper scissors to earn others' beads. Our Freshman Campus winner is Juan and our Upper Campus winner is Kamrin!
