On Sunday, 10 Key Club members and one staff member braved the cold temperatures to participate in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics in Fox Lake. The team raised more than $2,500 for the cause.

Chris Moore advanced to the semifinals of the IHSA Wrestling State Championships with an 11-5 decision this morning. He'll wrestle again at 7 p.m.
Pedro Jimenez, Ruben Melgarejo and Brody Hallin are wrestling in the consolation bracket.

Girls basketball heads to regional championship:
The McHenry Warriors girls basketball team advances to the IHSA Barrington Regional Championship at 7 p.m. Thursday to face the host, Broncos, after the 51-31 semi-final win over Dundee-Crown.

Key Club members volunteered at the #Valentine's dance hosted last weekend by the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association. They decorated the room, and then danced with participants.

State-bound:
Four McHenry wrestlers qualified for the state tournament, including Emma Garrett, who is the first girls state qualifier for the Warriors. Also going to state are Chris Moore, Pedro Jimenez, and Brody Hallin, who is the first 4-time qualifier in school history.
