Congratulations to Paul Zunkel, Class of 2021, for signing a commitment letter Wednesday to play football at Illinois Wesleyan University.


We are back in action working on our annual musical. Since we are not doing a full show, we are presenting a musical showcase. Sixteen songs from 15 of our favorite musicals will be live on stage this March. More details to come.

Marines Pvt. Daniel Hallaert, PFC Adam Shattuck, and PFC Ryan Peters recently graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Training. PFC Shattuck had the platoon high physical fitness test score of 291.

MCHS seniors Chris Agaton (early grad) and Rosa Garcia both enlisted into the Marine Corps last Friday. Chris will become a reservist rifleman with the infantry, and Rosa will be an administrator. Congratulations, and thank you for your service!



Congratulations to Enrique Robles, a junior at MCHS, who recently met all of the standards to enlist into the Illinois Army National Guard as a 91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic.
He plans to use the Illinois Guard Grant to pay for his tuition to study chiropractic care.


MCHS students and families: Now is a great time to "focus on the future" with course selection for next year. The school counseling team hosted three livestream sessions to help with the process. The recordings can be found on the district website.
