👑 Our homecoming king and queen, Lex and Yaneli, attended The Courtyard at McHenry's homecoming celebration! The Courtyard is an assisted living home for memory care patients. They crowned The Courtyard's king and queen and met all of the residents!

Some of the counselors brought members of the MCHS Latino/Hispanic community to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, an Emerging Hispanic Serving Institute. Students enjoyed a presentation from admissions counselors, toured the campus and ate lunch in a college cafeteria!

🌿 🪴 🍃 Students from garden club have been growing a plant called cress from seeds. They additionally are growing a small indoor garden from parts of root vegetables that are usually thrown away in the trash. They have beets, parsley, leek, celery and avocado. Awesome job!
