Stone placed second in high jump and Galvicius placed second in pole vault.

Latin-American Student Organization (LASO) presented at the Board of Education meeting Monday evening on what LASO stands for and what the group does. They spoke about the events LASO has organized and will organize in the future at MCHS and in the community. Great job, LASO!

Congrats to Bilingual Liaison and Translator Lorena Ortega-Trovillion and Warrior Student Media! They were honored on Friday with Distinguished Service Awards from the Illinois Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association for their roles in school communication.





Congratulations to manufacturing student Conner Klein whose vise won first place at the Technology and Manufacturing Association competition and expo Thursday.
Ten students submitted projects, and four attended the event at Mazak in Schaumburg.

Congratulations to Danielle Jensen and Alyssa Moore for qualifying for the IHSA State Track and Field Championships the weekend of May 18-20.
Jensen finished 5th in the 3200m run with a state-qualifying time. Moore is the Huntley Sectional Champion in the 800m.

On Wednesday Leadership in Action students led social science classes in a Leadership Summit to discuss different leadership topics that included mental health, relationships, challenging the process, perseverance and more. We even had some Leadership in Action alumni visit!
