Seven band students participated in the ILMEA District 7 Senior Festival at Glenbrook South High School. They passed a competitive audition process to be selected alongside the best musicians from local counties. They worked with renowned conductors and then performed a concert.



The Day of the Dead/Día de Los Muertos event was a success! An ofrenda (altar) was setup for loved ones who have passed. Guests celebrated the memory of these loved ones by participating in activities they may have enjoyed: dancing, crafting, eating and more. Great job, LASO!

On Friday, ten students from our Business Professionals of America (BPA) club participated in a BPA conference in Glen Ellyn.
They networked with other students, promoted their products and learned from experts.

Mrs. Edwards and her 32 students from her Teaching as a Profession I class enjoyed the day at the Future Teacher Conference at Illinois State University. Over 1000 high school students from around the state were guests at the largest teacher prep university in Illinois!

Our Latin-American Student Organization (LASO) is getting ready for their Day of the Dead/Día de los muertos event this Saturday, November 4. Day of the Dead is a joyful time that helps people remember and celebrate the deceased. Admission is free! We hope to see you there!

MCHS earned a "commendable" rating on the Illinois Report Card, which was released Monday. It is the second highest rating in the annual program to measure public schools.
