On Sunday, our Special Olympic athletes shined at the Basketball Skills event! Ellie Neuman, Sean Kellmann, and Riley Perez each brought home gold with outstanding performances. Patrick Llamas earned a well-deserved silver, while Jimmy Hansen captured bronze. Danny Avila and Jackson Pilat also showcased their hard work and enthusiasm, each earning a ribbon for fourth and fifth place! Great job, athletes!

For Tuesday Takeover, Comic Book/Manga/Fandoms Club and Table Top Gaming Club greeted students with candy and info about their clubs. They also did trivia in Ms. Hanson's class. Congratulations to Belinda Flynn who is our newest AVID Warrior! She completed the twelve-hour AVID strategies training. AVID is a 45-year-old national program that includes an elective class, where the goal is to help students achieve greater success in both the classroom and in their future. This is MCHS' third year as an AVID school.
