Dr. Michael Roberts is a former MCHS teacher, principal and superintendent.
Michael Christensen owns a construction business and also started a nonprofit, Freedom for Heroes, to support fellow military veterans.


On Friday, we celebrated our retirees, Freshman Campus Associate Principal Terry Fitzgibbons, Food Service Professional Beth Kratzke and Industrial Technology Instructor Steven Thompson. Thank you for all your hard work through the years!

Students in our AVID10 class toured Northern Illinois University to explore postsecondary options on Wednesday. Then on Thursday, they hosted a World Cafe with MCHS leaders to work collaboratively to improve MCHS in the future.

Freshmen previewed Upper Campus on Friday. Senior leaders led them on tours and answered their questions. Freshmen ended their time at Upper Campus with games including a dodgeball tournament. #WarriorReady156

This week, students were encouraged to sign prom pledges during lunch periods, promising to have safe prom! On Friday morning, a banner will be hung in the school entrance encouraging students to stay safe with handwritten messages from staff.

This is a friendly reminder that Friday is a 10:30 a.m. release for freshmen and 10:40 a.m. release for sophomores, juniors and seniors.

On Wednesday, student volunteers at Freshman Campus made positive notes to hang around school to greet students today.
It is part of a Spring into Service effort to provide service opportunities to keep ninth-graders on track to earn the Distinguished Warrior graduation honor.
