The wrestling team took third in the IHSA regionals at Grant HS. Great season!
Eight wrestlers qualified for sectionals at Barrington HS.
Good luck to Ryan Hanson, Jimmy Norris, Lucas Van Diepen, Pedro Jimenez, Ruben Melgarejo, Aiden Fischler, Chris Moore, and Jesse Saavedra.


Two members of the MCHS girls bowling team advanced to sectionals at Saturday's regional event in Marengo.
Emily Carpenter finished fifth while Brianna May took seventh place.
They'll be competing this Saturday at Liberty Lanes in Carpentersville.

Writers Week has begun! Students played the word game "Bananagrams" and wrote down their imperfections in anticipation of Erika Sanchez, author of “I’m Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter," visiting tomorrow. Brave students also read their own work during a Celebration of Words!

We held our first Wellness Fair Thursday evening for the public and Friday during the day for physical education students! The booths pictured here are Northwestern Medicine, Evolve Chiropractic and the US Marines. #WarriorReady156 #WarriorWellness156

As a reminder, students who speak another language in addition to English will take ACCESS testing to measure language abilities starting Monday at Upper Campus.

MCHS staff who ordered lunch from Warrior Chef received a delicious meal Friday while students in the capstone food service program practiced their skills in taking food orders, cooking in mass quantity and working on an assembly line.

The powerlifting club hosted its first ever Fox Valley area schools exhibition powerlifting meet: "FLEX Valley" on Wednesday night. About 80 total students lifted and over 50 people volunteered. (community members, alumni and current students) #WarriorReady156

Tomorrow (Thursday) the physical education department is hosting its first-ever Wellness Fair featuring more than 16 organizations with interactive exhibits and activities to promote a healthy lifestyle. The event is free and open to the public!
