Students in Aquatic Fitness competed against each other and MCHS deans in cardboard boat races in the swimming pool. Teams earned prizes for best boat design, longest-surviving boat and race winner.

MCHS board members hosted the biannual meeting of the Kishwaukee Region of the Illinois Association of School Board on Thursday. More than 70 board members from throughout northern Illinois took tours of our Center for Science, Technology and Industry and took part in a panel discussion on safety in the Warrior Room.

Heart dissection! Students in honors principles of biomedical science dissected a sheep heart Thursday morning. They learned where the heart pumps oxygenated and deoxygenated blood. #WarriorReady156
On Monday counselors took 39 students to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. In addition to their abundant opportunities, they are a Hispanic Serving Institute, meaning they offer additional resources and supports to the Hispanic/Latinx community. #WarriorReady156
