Last week, members of the MCHS Powerlifting Club hosted their first meet of the year with Hampshire and Jacobs high schools.

Girls basketball heads to regional championship:
The McHenry Warriors girls basketball team advances to the IHSA Barrington Regional Championship at 7 p.m. Thursday to face the host, Broncos, after the 51-31 semi-final win over Dundee-Crown.

Key Club members volunteered at the #Valentine's dance hosted last weekend by the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association. They decorated the room, and then danced with participants.
Key Club has been volunteering at this event for more than 20 years.

State-bound:
Four McHenry wrestlers qualified for the state tournament, including Emma Garrett, who is the first girls state qualifier for the Warriors. Also going to state are Chris Moore, Pedro Jimenez, and Brody Hallin, who is the first 4-time qualifier in school history.
