On this first day of #BlackHistoryMonth, MCHS is looking forward to celebrating Black culture and history. Social science teachers plan to highlight achievements of Black historical figures. Students are planning to decorate the buildings with special stories and photos.

Monday's District 156 school board meeting was a busy one with board members getting a presentation from students in the new broadcast journalism program, honoring the Esports Smash: Ultimate team for finishing 4th in the region, and recognizing Food for Thought leaders.

CURRENT 8TH GRADERS: Course Selection Seminars are February 8 (last names A-K) and February 9 (last names L-Z) 6 p.m. at Freshman Campus. This is a MUST-ATTEND event that will focus on the course selection process, form completion and the summer school Get Ahead program.
