After years of hard work planning and building, the Center for Science, Technology and Industry was officially dedicated in a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday night. We thank every individual who was involved in creating this new Center that will enhance our students' future!

Incoming freshmen came into the newly renovated Freshman Campus (formerly East) for our two Freshman Rallies on Friday. Dr. Prickett and Mrs. Hobson helped welcome the new students. A special thanks to our helpful upper class-men who gave the tours today!

Another reminder to come tour the new Center for Science, Technology and Industry this Saturday! No sign-up is required. Feel free to stop by between 10 a.m. and noon. If you can't make it this Saturday, you can join us on Aug. 21 or Oct. 2.

Enjoy these additional images of our adventurous PE teachers training on the new equipment for this year's new Adventure Education class. Students will learn skills and teamwork by participating in a variety of outdoor activities, such as climbing, outdoor cooking and more.

As the first day of school draws near, we're compiling helpful resources on the Back to School 2021 page on the website, www.dist156.org.
It has the school calendar, Dr. Prickett's welcome letter and more.
