Ten MCHS students qualified for the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida in May after participating in the Business Professionals of America state leadership conference in Oak Brook.

This past weekend Ramiro Torres competed in the state basketball skills competition at Illinois State University and received a bronze medal in his division! Way to go, Ramiro! 🏀#WarriorReady156

Our newly implemented AVID (Advanced Via Individual Determination) program was on display for about 30 educators from other districts. AVID is an elective college and career readiness program designed to motivate students to build on their skills by taking on new challenges.

Counselors brought a group of sophomores and juniors to the Amplify conference at McHenry County College. The focus was on challenging the norms and finding your voice. There were sessions on mental health, identity, breaking career norms and neurodiversity in college.
