This week, students were encouraged to sign prom pledges during lunch periods, promising to have safe prom! On Friday morning, a banner will be hung in the school entrance encouraging students to stay safe with handwritten messages from staff.
This is a friendly reminder that Friday is a 10:30 a.m. release for freshmen and 10:40 a.m. release for sophomores, juniors and seniors.

It is part of a Spring into Service effort to provide service opportunities to keep ninth-graders on track to earn the Distinguished Warrior graduation honor.

The District 156 Board of Education on Tuesday approved the appointment of Sean Sterner to Freshman Campus principal for next year.
He'll replace Greg Eiserman, who is moving to Upper Campus next year.

Upper Campus students in the Teaching as a Profession course shadowed Freshman Campus teachers on Wednesday. Students also visit local elementary and middle schools to see what it's like teaching at different age levels. #WarriorReady156
On Tuesday, the varsity boys basketball team was recognized at the District 156 Board of Education meeting for earning the first Fox Valley Conference championship title in school history. 🏀
Also, Coach Card was honored as the Northwest Herald Boys Basketball Coach of the Year.

Congratulations to MCHS alums Curtis Weisenberger and Andrew Pilat for finishing in the top 100 of more than 28,000 runners in Monday's Boston Marathon! 📣
Curtis placed 61st with a time of 2:22:09 while Andrew placed 73rd with a time of 2:23:03.
