The Upper Campus PE Department is proud to announce the first quarter Outstanding PE Student Awards! They have been chosen for their positive attitudes, participating in activities, work ethic, respect and integrity. Winners receive a t-shirt and photos are put in a display case.

They also had a chance to receive a cookie and stickers for participating. This will be happening at Upper Campus on Tuesday during lunches. Freshmen made their ofrenda creations. An ofrenda is celebrated in Latin American culture and is traditional during Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) to honor loved ones who have passed away. Elements are placed on altars that symbolize different parts of life and death.

Dean Mr. Deener was a model for a demo in 3D stage makeup application in Mr. Hillier's stagecraft class! Mr. Hillier applied blemishes like warts or boils, a fake beard, mustache and scarring. For comparison, the final photo is what Mr. Deener looks like without the makeup.
