Freshman Campus celebrated Dot Day by drawing art on the sidewalk, Monday. Dot Day is meant to boost courage in one's creativity and was inspired by the book, "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds.

Congratulations to our newest AVID Warriors: Leah Pelletier, Megan Edwards and Samantha Carlson. They completed the twelve-hour AVID strategies training. AVID is a 45-year-old national program that includes an elective class, where the goal is to help student achieve greater success in both the classroom and in their future. This is MCHS' third year as an AVID school.

Members of the MCHS Garden Club are taking advantage of the nice weather to add perennial plants to the school garden at Freshman Campus.
They also collected seeds from their spring plantings to further expand the garden in the future. 🌻

On Thursday, Mrs. Donelson's AP Biology students created a Cell Membrane Bubble Lab to study the behavior of bubbles and correlate that to cell membranes.
The bubbles allowed the students to study the fluidity of cell membranes and their ability to make repairs, among other things.
