Mrs. Hanson's class had a fun sensory experience playing with shaving cream. Also, in honor National Root Beer Day, Mrs. Czaja and Mrs. Hanson's classes joined together to have a root beer float party. This sounds like a great day in summer school!

Baseball is headed to the IHSA 4A Baseball Super Sectional! On Saturday, the baseball team clinched the Sectional Championship against the Barrington Broncos. Monday at 6 p.m. they play in the Super Sectional Title Game at Northwestern Medicine Field. Get tickets on GoFan!

After learning about Fleet Week and ships, Mrs. Hanson's summer school class has done activities related to ships and water. A few of the students' favorites have been making pool noodle boats and underwater graham crackers. They also enjoyed a sink or float science activity.

Happy Pride Month! MCHS recognizes and honors the contributions of our LGBT+ students, staff and community.
Mr. Connor's graphic students Cynthia and Michelle designed, printed and installed a car wrap project for the McHenry Police Department. Cynthia designed the hood and Michelle designed the doors. Their peers helped them with the install. Stay tuned for a video of the process!
