On Tuesday, the varsity boys basketball team was recognized at the District 156 Board of Education meeting for earning the first Fox Valley Conference championship title in school history. 🏀 Also, Coach Card was honored as the Northwest Herald Boys Basketball Coach of the Year.

Latin X-perience: Sonidos y Sabores (Sounds and Flavors) is happening 5-8:30 p.m. May 9 at the Upper Campus cafeteria. The event was created to celebrate and share Latino culture with everyone! The Ballet Folklore del Popolo will perform , and Ivan Flores from LatinoXpressions will teach dance lessons. El Vado's food truck will sell food on-site. Latin-American Student Organization (LASO) will be selling snacks and ice cream. Entry is free. LASO will be accepting donations to fund LASO's Adelante Siempre Scholarship and future events.
