Multicultural Fair organizers are looking for student-created decorations with the theme "It's a Small World" for the April 5 event at Upper Campus.

Heidie Dunn, Illinois Teacher of the Year for the Far North suburban region, was honored along with other regional Teachers of the Year with a reception on Saturday hosted by the Illinois State Board of Education.

Our newly implemented AVID (Advanced Via Individual Determination) program was on display for about 30 educators from other districts. AVID is an elective college and career readiness program designed to motivate students to build on their skills by taking on new challenges.

Counselors brought a group of sophomores and juniors to the Amplify conference at McHenry County College. The focus was on challenging the norms and finding your voice. There were sessions on mental health, identity, breaking career norms and neurodiversity in college.
