During Friday's home basketball game, our community came together to celebrate our staff as well as support two McHenry businesses damaged by a fire in January. We also recognized McHenry Baseball Coach Brian Rockweiler's induction in the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association's Hall of Fame.
For the Riverside businesses -- Riverside Bakery and Reese's Barkery -- we helped raise at least $13,000 through Riverside Strong t-shirt and hoodie sales.

Congratulations to Brittany Probst and Karen Lawlor, our newest AVID Warriors! They completed the twelve-hour AVID strategies training. AVID is a 45-year-old national program that includes an elective class, where the goal is to help students achieve greater success in both the classroom and in their future. This is MCHS' third year as an AVID school.
