The recipients for the first annual MCHS Alumni Association Scholarship have been selected and will be announced at Senior Honors Night on May 11. The two $500 scholarships are made possible through our partnership with 31 North Banquets and Catering. 31 North will be adding a percentage of all events and catering from the MCHS family to next year's scholarship. CURRENT FRESHMEN: On Friday, April 29 freshmen will be at Upper Campus for an introduction to the building. On this day freshmen will be dismissed from school at 10:30 a.m. Bus riders will be dropped off and picked up directly at the Upper Campus. Car riders need to be dropped off (7:25 a.m.) and picked up (10:30 a.m.) at the Upper Campus. A shuttle will be provided for walkers at 7:05 a.m. Walkers will take bus 102, 104, or 109 to and from the Upper Campus.

Students explored options for the future with the return of our in-person College and Career Expo on Thursday.
Representatives from more than 100 colleges and universities, military and service organizations, and businesses were on-hand to talk about life after high school.
Jazz up your Wednesday:
The MCHS Jazz Club is putting on a performance tonight (April 20) at the Freshman Campus theater.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the performance starts at 7. Admission is $5 and includes drinks of coffee and lemonade.
Guests can bring their own snacks.
On Wednesday, MCHS celebrated 17 student-athletes who signed letters of intent to play in college.
We had athletes in basketball, wrestling, lacrosse, baseball, golf, volleyball and football commit to continue playing after high school

MCHS Athletic Director Barry Burmeister, who is retiring after a 35-year career, was honored by the MCHS Physical Education Department on Wednesday for all of his work on behalf of student-athletes at McHenry.
