AVID is a 45-year-old national program that includes an elective class, where the goal is to help students achieve greater success in both the classroom and in their future. Freshman Campus had a Mini College and Career Fair during lunches on Wednesday. Students were encouraged to ask the representatives questions as they begin to think about their future careers. The annual Upper Campus College and Career Fair will be April 17 during the school day.

Students voted for their favorite franchises March Madness style: Introduction to Business students researched and presented potential franchise opportunities for the McHenry area as part of their unit on forms of business ownership. Students and staff are getting in on the action by voting for their favorite franchise using a tournament bracket system modeled after the popular college basketball series.
