On Thursday, Vindictive Vinyl Daniel Florek installed a mural at 3411 Elm St. designed by recent graduate, Sophie Zieba. Matt Connor's graphics students printed the design using material from Jessup Manufacturing. Sophie's design was chosen by the community in an online poll.

Mrs. Hanson's class had a fun sensory experience playing with shaving cream. Also, in honor National Root Beer Day, Mrs. Czaja and Mrs. Hanson's classes joined together to have a root beer float party. This sounds like a great day in summer school!

After learning about Fleet Week and ships, Mrs. Hanson's summer school class has done activities related to ships and water. A few of the students' favorites have been making pool noodle boats and underwater graham crackers. They also enjoyed a sink or float science activity.

Mr. Connor's graphic students Cynthia and Michelle designed, printed and installed a car wrap project for the McHenry Police Department. Cynthia designed the hood and Michelle designed the doors. Their peers helped them with the install. Stay tuned for a video of the process!
