Congratulations to Melanie Kadlec and Joun Aubert, our newest AVID Warriors! They completed the twelve-hour AVID strategies training. AVID is a 45-year-old national program that includes an elective class, where the goal is to help students achieve greater success in both the classroom and in their future. This is MCHS' third year as an AVID school.

Thanks to financial support from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) high school students have the opportunity to complete a 10 week internship with local manufacturers Paid internship $16 per hour 29 hours a week 10 week program: work for McHenry County Manufacturers Safety equipment provided Intern Eligibility: 16-18 years old. On Thursday, MCHS students enrolled in Dual Credit Incubator visited McHenry County College for a Introduction to Entrepreneurship course field trip. While at MCC, they heard a speech from Dr. Sherry Ridge (Business Department Chair), attended a dual-credit presentation from MCC advisors, and received a full campus tour.
