Students in Life Skills class had the opportunity to listen to author Araseli Rodriguez talk about her book, "Proudly Bilingual."

We are looking forward to recognizing #VeteransDay2025 by hearing the stories of many local veterans who will be speaking to our students today. 🇺🇸 On this day and throughout the year, we are grateful for the service of all veterans.

Students in Spanish 4 are working on designing Spanish ads with slogans and commands. They will then review each other's ads and decide how effective they are.

Students in Ms. Cabalquinto's class and Ms. Hanson's class made pet rocks with student leaders. In the coming weeks, they will be making habitats for their pets while talking about basic needs and adaptations. We love their designs!

Congratulations to our latest AVID Warriors, Coach Beerbower and Principal Eiserman! They completed the twelve-hour AVID strategies training. AVID is a 45-year-old national program that includes an elective class, where the goal is to help students achieve greater success in both the classroom and in their future. This is MCHS' third year as an AVID school.

Class of 2029 students and families are invited to join your administrative and counseling teams for our Freshman Future Planning Presentation! This event focuses on how present success builds to future opportunities at MCHS and beyond!! There are two sessions of this presentation:

The 2026-2027 curriculum guide has been released. Course selection is right around the corner. It is never too early for students to start thinking about their electives and courses related to their career interests and passions.

Grades 9-11: We will be hosting ACT/PreACT prep sessions to prepare MCHS students for spring testing. Performing well can open doors of opportunity and access to courses, colleges, scholarships and more.

Parents and guardians, be sure to sign up for parent-teacher conferences by November 20 at 12 p.m. We especially encourage parents/guardians to meet with teachers in classes where the student is earning a C or lower.
