A-TEC Ambulance visited MCHS on Monday to speak to students about a career as an emergency medical technician. Students were able to look inside their ambulance. They demonstrated how to use their equipment while college career counselor, Mr. Menke, was a pretend patient.

Last week was another great week for MCHS Jazz! Senior Jack Skaathun won a highly selective spot in one of the Illinois Music Education Association District 7 Jazz Bands which performed at a festival on Nov. 16 at Niles North High School. On Wednesday, both jazz classes participated in the Fox Valley Conference Jazz Festival at Dundee-Crown High School where they received clinics from professional saxophonist Matthew MuƱeses and Bradley University's Dr. Todd Kelly.
