The Upper Campus physical education department is pleased to announce the second quarter Outstanding PE Student Awards! They have been selected based on their efforts in demonstrating a positive attitude, participation in activities, work ethic, respect and integrity. Great job!

A-TEC Ambulance visited MCHS on Monday to speak to students about a career as an emergency medical technician. Students were able to look inside their ambulance. They demonstrated how to use their equipment while college career counselor, Mr. Menke, was a pretend patient.
Thursday night band and choir performed Handelās Messiah, conducted by Mr. Galvicius and Mr. Cabildo. It hasnāt been performed in a few years, and they pulled it off beautifully! #WarriorReady156

On Friday over 70 students in the Business Professionals of America club competed in a regional competition. The categories included accounting, finance, business law, programming, computer security, marketing, management, speech, graphic design, broadcast and more!

Mr. Connor's graphic communications design class visited engineering instructor Mr. Micklinghoff's classroom to learn more about the laser printer. Mr. Micklinghoff used the laser to print out students' designs they previously made on the computer. #WarriorReady156

Last week was another great week for MCHS Jazz! Senior Jack Skaathun won a highly selective spot in one of the Illinois Music Education Association District 7 Jazz Bands which performed at a festival on Nov. 16 at Niles North High School.
On Wednesday, both jazz classes participated in the Fox Valley Conference Jazz Festival at Dundee-Crown High School where they received clinics from professional saxophonist Matthew MuƱeses and Bradley University's Dr. Todd Kelly.
