High School Students Looking for a good paying job and manufacturing work experience? Thanks to financial support from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) high school students have the opportunity to complete a 10 week internship with local manufacturers Paid internship $16 per hour 29 hours a week 10 week program: work for McHenry County Manufacturers Safety equipment provided Intern Eligibility: 16-18 years old. Currently residing in McHenry County. No previous work experience necessary. Both students and parents are invited to attend a brief virtual info session to hear more. On Thursday, MCHS students enrolled in Dual Credit Incubator visited McHenry County College for a Introduction to Entrepreneurship course field trip. While at MCC, they heard a speech from Dr. Sherry Ridge (Business Department Chair), attended a dual-credit presentation from MCC advisors, and received a full campus tour.

It was all fun and games during introduction to business class at Freshman Campus. Students had fun while applying the profit equation to the classic board game Monopoly. This is just one of the many hands-on learning activities students experience while taking a business class.
