Our current Spanish IV class will be modified and offered as MCC Spanish SPA 251/252 and will be worth eight college credits for successful completion starting in 2026-2027. Juniors, register before holiday break to take the ACT early at MCHS on February 14. Students who take the ACT in February and then take it again in the spring have a better chance of raising their scores! The school board will pay for your test in the form of a credit on senior year school fees and Black Diamond will give you a Starbucks gift card so your Scores can Rise-A-Latte. The 2026-2027 curriculum guide has been released. Course selection is right around the corner. It is never too early for students to start thinking about their electives and courses related to their career interests and passions.

Grades 9-11: We will be hosting ACT/PreACT prep sessions to prepare MCHS students for spring testing. Performing well can open doors of opportunity and access to courses, colleges, scholarships and more.

Parents and guardians, be sure to sign up for parent-teacher conferences by November 20 at 12 p.m. We especially encourage parents/guardians to meet with teachers in classes where the student is earning a C or lower.
