AVID is a 45-year-old national program that includes an elective class, where the goal is to help student achieve greater success in both the classroom and in their future. This is MCHS' third year as an AVID school.

On Wednesday, Mrs. Kirk's business management classes did a puzzle challenge. One student had to complete a puzzle blindfolded while the other gave directions. The activity demonstrates hearing versus listening, the soft skill of communication, and being able to give and follow instructions.
