The AVID (Advanced Via Individual Determination) class took a field trip to MCC to see what a first step after high school would look like. Students sat in on an astronomy class, learned about how to prepare for college as high school students and took a tour of the campus.




American Education Week is a nationwide event that honors the dedication of educators and education support professionals. It emphasizes the value of a quality education and the need for collaboration among teachers, parents and the community to ensure student success. #AEW2023


Social science classes at both campuses heard from panelists of veterans on Friday in honor of Veterans Day. We had a great variety of veterans including a World War II veteran! Thank you to all the veterans who came out and took the time to talk to our students!

Veterans Day programs are planned for social science classes at both campuses on Friday. The purpose of the Veterans Day programs is to give students an opportunity to honor and learn from our local heroes who served our country. Students in the stagecraft class played "Spotlight Tag" with the follow-spots. Students needed to chase their partner with the follow-spot, turning it off when their partner exited the stage, then changing the color of the gel before their partner re-entered the scene.
