Dr. Ferney Ramirez Hernandez was a special guest speaker at the Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee on Tuesday evening. He presented on how to improve family relationships. Thank you for coming out to MCHS, Dr. Hernandez!


Norma De La Rosa from Golden Apple spoke to students about the Golden Apple Scholars program for future teachers. Our own MCHS teacher Sr. Corzo chimed in about his time in the program. He said he was able to gain teaching experience early on in his college career.

You are invited to the MCHS Wellness Fair! There will be a variety of exhibitors that will provide information, resources, handouts, and demonstrations related to overall health and wellness! Come to the Upper Campus main gym from 5 to 8 p.m. on February 2.


MCHS students who participated last summer in a countywide manufacturing internship program were recognized during Monday’s school board meeting.
Fifteen students completed more than 3,000 paid hours at local companies. Interested students should contact Mr. Menke.
