MCHS board members hosted the biannual meeting of the Kishwaukee Region of the Illinois Association of School Board on Thursday. More than 70 board members from throughout northern Illinois took tours of our Center for Science, Technology and Industry and took part in a panel discussion on safety in the Warrior Room.

Happy Halloween from MCHS!




Students in Aquatic Fitness competed against each other and MCHS deans in cardboard boat races in the swimming pool. Teams earned prizes for best boat design, longest-surviving boat and race winner.

It's Tuesday and that means it's time for another Warrior Weekly! This week they cover McHenry's Make-A-Wish surprise, the fall band concert, senior nights for swimming and football, PSAT's and Leadership in Action students.




On Monday counselors took 39 students to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. In addition to their abundant opportunities, they are a Hispanic Serving Institute, meaning they offer additional resources and supports to the Hispanic/Latinx community. #WarriorReady156

On Tuesday, Leadership in Action students met for the second time with English students in Poland to share their experiences in school and life. It is part of a growing partnership between MCHS and SLO No. 5, a school outside of Warsaw, initiated by school counselor Gary Myers to provide support during the Ukraine crisis. #WarriorReady156
