Some of the counselors brought members of the MCHS Latino/Hispanic community to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, an Emerging Hispanic Serving Institute. Students enjoyed a presentation from admissions counselors, toured the campus and ate lunch in a college cafeteria!

🌿 🪴 🍃 Students from garden club have been growing a plant called cress from seeds. They additionally are growing a small indoor garden from parts of root vegetables that are usually thrown away in the trash. They have beets, parsley, leek, celery and avocado. Awesome job!
