Our partners, Habitat for Humanity McHenry, visited our construction shop Thursday to watch Dan Rohman and students as they work on cutting rafters over spring break.
Habitat for Humanity will be assisting in the assembly and finishing of the Riverwalk Shoppes.

On Thursday we held the final pep rally of the year! We celebrated our students' achievements and competed in some fun games. Seniors won the whole rally, but freshmen were the loudest in cheering! #WarriorReady156











National Honors Society is hosting Mr. McHenry tomorrow (Thursday) at 7 p.m. in the Upper Campus auditorium! The event is a pageant with various categories. NHS will be collecting hardcover book donations.

@MooseLodge691 leaders spoke to Graphics 2 students on Tuesday to start the design process for a car wrap to honor the organization's philanthropic work. Students are also working with Wisconsin-based @VindictiveVinyl on the #graphicdesign project.

Graphic 2 students are embarking on a car wrap project. Daniel Florek, president of @VindictiveVinyl spoke to students Monday about his process for designing and installing engaging vehicle wraps. On Tuesday reps from the Moose Lodge will meet with students to start the process.

Mrs. Kirk's consumer education class played Credit Musical Chairs. They were given the classification of either installment loan vs. revolving credit, secured debt vs. unsecured debt or variable rate vs. fixed rate. Students decided if they should sit once the music stopped and the type of credit was revealed. Our winner was Taylor!



Mrs. Kirk's marketing students had a meeting with Claudia Kendzior from Morkes Chocolates in Huntley to prepare for their MCC Marketing Challenge. Students were doing their research to see how they can assist Morkes Chocolates in growing their teen target market. #WarriorReady156


Eighteen students were awarded white coats for completing all four years of the Biomed program. Five received awards for earning A’s throughout. Angelica Sandria-Escobar who earned her coat last year and is serving as a Combat Medic in the National Guard spoke at the ceremony.
